Wet felting is a technique used when wanting to make origional designs from fibres of wool which I then had to create into felt using the Wet Felting technique. Firstly I chose my wool the colours I chose fitted in with my colour scheme of both natural shades and blue representing man made, I start off by teasing the wool apart and layering up strands of the wool into the shape I want, making sure I built up two layers other wise the wool won't bond together to create a good outcome. Once this is done I applied a mesh sheet covered in water and rolled in bubble wrap and a towel as it bonds together when being rolled on a bumpy surface, I don't have a image of my final outcome using the brown and orange wool as it is my back ground on my post on 'needle felting' I also don't have images of the process before I created the blue peice of felt although it's exactly the same process just using different colours, overall I do enjoy wet felting but wouldn't choose to use the technique as a final peice as I don't think it looks precise and nicely presented.
