I recently created two artist/designer research sheets, one studying high-end fashion and costume designers The Blonds and the highly famous couture designer Chanel, I really enjoy researching designers and artists as it gives me inspiration for my future work and try and create the beautiful pattern and designs as the already established designers. The Blonds are very high cat walk fashion designers who design mainly costumes which are worn by individual musical performers, for example lad gaga and Katy perry. The Chanel collection I chose to research was S/S 2012 as it was themed around 'under the sea' using pastel shades, pearls and fabric manipulation.
