I have recently learnt in class about fabric manipulation where I learnt the process of how to rooshe fabric and manipulate a single piece of fabric, into a more tactile and more interesting peice of fabric to look at, the technique I looked at was a technique that could be developed further to creating interesting movement to a plain and simple garment. I have learnt several other techniques to do with fabric manipulation and I shall carry one of the techniques through and incorporate it into my final design for the current Live Brief working for moo designs to create a under the sea invertebrate themed peice of fabric later to be designed into a avant garde garment.
