Tartan research, complete, I have created a mood board on tartan, both different colour schemes to how tartan can be created and different styles of how tartan can be designed, I then teamed this mood board with two simple fashion illustrations on tracing paper encorporating the tartan design into one of the garments, one the full dress and the other just on the skirt. This has helped me realise that there are many different tartan patterns rather than the original well known ones.
