FMP MoodBoards:

1. When creating this first mood board I created a back ground using brusho inks once this was almost dry I sprayed bleach all over it to take away colour, I sprayed the sheet whilst stood up so the bleach ran down the page to create a bleeding or dripping effect which I really liked the look of! Once this was dry (I sprayed deodorant on the sheet to take the edge off the bleach smell!) I collected images of quintessentially british things, I wanted this mood board to be purely based on Britain, London and the typicalities found in Britain, I chose images that I would be able to develop at a later date to create into visuals, I feel with this sheet I shall be able to take a few aspects through to my visual sheets.
2. Moving on I then created a second mood board which I created using pictures of British icons and British musicians, once I had finished this there were several white gaps which I had decided to fill using patterns found on my mood board, as there wasn't a lot of pattern found on the clothing of worn by the celebs on the sheet I had to use pattern mainly from the gown that was worn by Freddie Mercury and the fur leopard print coat worn by Kate Moss, I developed these two patterns to fill my white spaces and personally felt this gave a really good effect and also made all of my images blend together.
3. Finally my final mood board researching into eras, the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's, this is one of my favourite mood boards out of the three I have created, although I wanted everyone featured on this to be british I unfortunately couldn't find lots of british celebrities wearing clothing in these eras so it had to choose a few American celebrities as well as british, I positioned my images starting with 60's first and working my way down to the bottom corner finishing with photos from the 90's, I feel I will be able to get heaps of pattern and imagery from this mood board to develop further into visual and development sheets!
I have enjoyed creating these mood boards and they will defiantly help me when creating visual and development sheet and when producing my tracing when creating a final peice.
Here is a photo of all of my mood boards together:
