Sewing into my sketchbook:

As I shall be sewing together my final peice of a 60' inspired shift dress I decided to create a page in my sketchbook of different patterns a sewing machine can create therefore I can choose my favourite and most appropriate for sewing together my garment. I stuck down two iconic british celebrities, super model Kate Moss and Kelly Osbourne, and sewed on top of them this was purely to make the page look a little more interesting and layered up, I also sewed onto acetate which is a thin plastic used for titles on sheet work mainly, this was a very quick way of creating another page in my sketchbook and I personally feel the technique has worked well!
