Bow ties, completed:

I first off started my printing squares of 20cmX20cm and cutting them out, I then folded in the middle and corners and sewed down the centre line securing the fabric together, I then sewed a thin strip together to make a circle for the centre of the bow tie and slid the circle over the square to create the bow shape, I then attached elastic to become wearable.
This was the first bow tie I created and I thoroughly enjoyed the process and think they are easy to create but look very smart and effective, I tried on my bow tie to make sure the elastic was long enough and had enough left to be able to be altered to suit.

A few days later I created the rest of my bow ties, I am very happy with how they have turned out and feel they will compliment everything else in my exhibition very well!!
