Today I have also created a sample just a little bit smaller than A4, before I began to print I drew out my triangles which would be the shapes for my bunting. Once this was done I then turned the fabric over onto the plain side, taped the corners down and began to print using my screen, I printed onto cotton. Once the print was dry I cut around the triangles and shown below is what I achieved! I am very happy with how this simple but very effective, in my oppinion, technique has worked out and I shall consider using it for my exhibition and to support my final peice in the final show once FMP is over, I was also thinking of cutting some pieces of buntin out in twiggys silhoette and the punk rockers head shape and hanging those along with the buntin at, for example, every fith flag. I shall see how much time I allow my self in order to create this.
