Today whilst sampling in the print room I decided to print onto a newspaper weave I had already created to go in my tech folder, I was apprehensive to find out what effect this would give, I only used One screen just so I could find out what effect it gave and if I liked it I would create more samples using this technique. I disliked it very much, once I removed my screen the image was barely noticeable and in my oppinion just looked like a few black blobs of pigment rather than a clear image that screen printing normally gives when printed onto a flat surface. I am pleased I have tried this technique but I don't think I shall be using it again.
